The day was perfect for a wedding- blue skies and sunshine. We took the van out to Ringers Rest and set up near the big reception area in the RV area. Quite a few people had their tents, camper trailers and caravans there for the night.

At 1 .45pm we drove to Atherton for the ceremony. Then after some drinks we headed back for the party. It was a great night, all so relaxed and happy. We stayed to the end, then crashed out in our van with the bride and groom in the camper trailer opposite us, though we heard in the morning that they had gone back to the camp fire with all the other young ones until 2.30am!

Sunday morning arrived and we enjoyed the morning after breakfast with a good crowd before bringing the van back to Gillman Gully for the next three nights. The rest of the day was quiet with lots of us catching up on some lost sleep.
