On the Tableland

After coffee at Coffee Works to say goodbye to Sheree and Rowan as they headed off for their honeymoon, Rick and I headed off to look at some of the local attractions.

The huge curtain fig tree, Lake Eacham, Yungaburra and its platypus, then Malanda Falls and a stop for chilli lime peanuts outside Tolga .

Back at Gillman's we had another lovely happy hour, this time with Aperol Spritzes made by Merril #2. Julie cooked some of their own caught barramundi which we had with salad for tea, then the left over brownies and wedding cupcakes were brought out for dessert.

At 8pm we took chairs and drinks down the back yard to watch the first bonfire light up, then moved on to the neighbours ( Denise and Barry) for their fire - first time I've ever enjoyed a progressive bonfire!
