Going Home

Horseshoe Bay, British Columbia, Canada
Woke up to rain and was surprised at how well I slept because the train track was within 100 meters of the campsite, alongside the highway, and both were busy! I was either exhausted or for whatever reason, the constant rumbling noise is comforting to me.
Anyway, got as far as Sicamous and spent some time posting my blog. From there it was Salmon Arm where I made an appointment to get the window chip fixed and replaced a burned out bulb in a headlight. Spent a few really nice hours visiting a cousin I see about once a year, made it to my appointment and then onward to Scotch Creek, to spend the evening with family there. Always a treat to see them.
Up and away early the next morning in order to get home before the day was over. Spent a good part of the drive adjusting the wipers as it rained, sprinkled or poured on and off all day. I got off the highway a few times just for a break and I did manage to get a few photos, but mostly I was just focused on putting the miles away ... and made it home.
Always feels good to get home!
Cheers until next time :)
