The Backwaters of Kerala is a large network of linked waterways near Alleppey that are known for houseboat trips. We spent about 24 hours on one cruising around the canals and lakes, taking in the tranquil scenery, and indulging in local seafood. There were no significant sight or stop offs just some lush scenery.
