Vienna, Austria
I've a few blogs to catch up on as we have had a really hectic few days but I'll have to complete this saga when I arrive home in Perth. We are in the air above Austria and now A380s have internet while you fly so I thought I'd take this time to complete this blog.

We stayed in lovely accommodation at the Premier Inn last night right beside Gatwick Airport which made getting there very easy via the shuttle. We had a hot breakfast at the hotel as we realised that it was going to be a while before we were fed again and at the moment, the time zone has changed and it is now 3:49pm beneath us. My computer has automatically adjusted the time... ahhhh technology, if only I understood it :)

We repacked our bags this morning as we had so much stuff. I never thought we would fit in all in but we did and overloaded the big bag. I cannot explain the relief as I gave it to the check in man and he took it off my hands. At this point I must say that we have worn every piece of clothing that we took and many lots of times. Mostly the bags were full of winter clothes and boy did we need it, particularly on the beaches of Normandy brrrrrr!

The 'Kids' are packed in the front of my seat and I'll try and add a couple of photos to the blog but at this height the connection is kinda slow :( We are very tired and wanting to just be home, but we have a couple of long flights ahead of us yet. We had a seat blocked off in between us for this flight but the plane is so full that they had to fill the spare seat so Graeme can't put his feet up. I"ll check again in Dubai and see that the long flight has a spare seat.

We have had a jam-packed three weeks: 5 countries, hired 3 cars, drove on the wrong side of the road for 4 days (kinda scary), used every type of public transport available and all more than once... not fun dragging a 20kg bag! We met lovely people and saw amazing things. Graeme has done really well and I'm really proud that he had the courage to come on this long trip. Neither of us is looking forward to these long flights but Emirates looks after us well. We have just had a yummy vegetarian lunch and I'm going to watch the end of Star Wars and have a nap. We'll see you next weekend at camp if you are in WA and everyone else I'll catch up with you in May when I'm in the Eastern States. My mum and dad have held down the fort for us in Perth, fed the dogs and kept the home fires burning. They will be very glad to get back home to Cooranbong. They are true champions to do this for us...
