Port Elgin Day Two

Saturday, August 31, 2013
Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada
It was windy today so we stayed in port and spent the day tidying up the boat and exploring the town. We happened to meet some people on a trawler they just bought in Sarnia and are taking home to Montreal. It just so happens they are going our way. We both plan on leaving tomorrow morning. They are stopping at Tobermory but we think we would like to keep going to an anchorage past Tobermory called Wingfield Basin. The problem is the weather. Winds are forcasted to increase for Monday through Wendsday to 20 to 25 knots out of the north. We're not sure if we would rather sit out the wind in a marina or at anchor. That decision will be left for tomorrow after we get the latest forcast. Regardless, it looks like we'll lose a couple more days to weather.

Nothing too photogenic today so no photos.

More later.
