Belleville to Clayton

Clayton, New York, United States
Thunderstorms last night kept Camille and Charlie up most of the night. I slept well knowing they were awake and on watch.

The storms passed through and we left early this morning from Belleville, Ontario for the 78 mile run up the Bay of Quint and St. Lawrence River to Clayton, New York. Upon arrival in Clayton, we had dinner, cleared customs, and walked downtown for ice cream and a beautiful sunset.

The trip here was long and a bit boring due to the dreary weather. Drearier and colder tomorrow according to the forecast.

We will be touring the Antique Boat Museum tomorrow. Saturday we'll go find a castle to visit.

Now that we are back in the U.S. we can use our phone without paying international roaming charges so we're making a few calls while we can. Once back in Canada we'll be blacked out for the next few weeks. Posts on the blog will be sporadic at best. But stay tuned just in case we find a hot spot.
