Next morning Giles is headed back to Baku to continue on his journey to Kazakhstan and the Traveler continues with his hike. So off he goes past the village of Zaragan walking on west to see what there is to see. Unfortunately the highway veers southwest through the fertile plains--still have a nice view of the mountains in the distance... but not quite the feeling as hiking right along the base of this intimidating wall separating Russia and Azerbaijan.
