Mirzebeyli, Qǝbǝlǝ, Azerbaijan
The villages along the way quite frankly are not all that inspiring--just a scattering of rather generic houses, not a whole lot of history or culture visible--other than maybe a Soviet era monument to those fallen in World War II. Past Mirzabeyli there are a a couple fellows resting under a tree at who invite the Traveler to join them. Obviously they don't speak the same language--but what's the need? I've got a guitar which speaks the universal language of music.

Here he finally learns how to drink Azerbaijani tea correctly . He'd noticed that he's given cubes of sugar, but never a spoon to mix the tea. Well, the way you do it is you stick the cube of sugar directly in your mouth and then immediately drink the tea and... voila! Sweet tea!

Just think of all the time and energy you normally waste putting the sugar in the tea and stirring it... Not here in Azerbaijan!
