Xanagah, İsmayıllı, Azerbaijan
The Traveler continue on, on foot. He meets a lot of people along the way who give him the "what are you doing here?" gesture. More curiosity than hostility. He responds with the "walking" (two fingers back and forth) gesture "looking at the beauty" (point to eyes, point to trees) "taking pictures" (camera shutter gesture). Most people are content with that. One burly old fellow insist that the Traveler sit down for tea, in the shade of the trees, and they carry on a bit more of a "conversation". You know, point to his children and gesture how many... point to his finger finger to show he's married, the the 2 gesture to say I have two kids... Obviously limited, but he's gotten used to these types of conversations here in Azerbaijan.

The host insists that the Traveler go with him down the road, as he's headed that way anyways, and the Traveler have a hard time convincing him that, thank you but I want to walk ... in fact I MUST walk... The host seems a bit offended at the refusalOh well... I really want to walk this stretch of my journey...

On past Xanagah he reaches one of the beautiful, dense forests. Here he's finally able to get off the road and just blaze his own trail through the forest... not a hard thing to do since there's no underbrush.
