Back on the road, he's quite happy to stick to walking on pavement for the rest of the way. Trails that turn suicidal? No thanks. He does do a little sidetrip to a secluded little spot by the river. Then further on past Dzoraghyugh, he comes a cross a cool little grill spot. A fellow and his wife will grill up some meat that you can eat by the rushing river with a table made out of a big slice of log. Definitely one of his more memorable eating experiences...
 
After winding along the valley floor for a while, the road finally plunges into a roughy cut tunnel into the mountain . A cool little stroll through the heart of the mountain. Sometimes there are gates in the side of the tunnel which locals use as direct access to their gardens outside down beside the river.
 
Then he exits to the other side into a magnificent gorge with jagged walls reaching for the sky. Here actually two streams come together, and he's tempted to follow the other stream upstream just to see where it goes... but no... he settles for a swim in the stream--knowing this day would not be complete without it.
