At the edge of Trabzon, it's not quite clear when one town ends and another starts. The city abruptly ends when the mountains touch the sea--then comes to life with a hospital and a row of high rise apartments... no real "soul" here--if this is a town.

But when I reach Ackaadat, this is clearly a city all of its own, with a busy main street and side streets that climb up the steep mountainside--contrasted with a peaceful stroll along the sea.
