Finally after exploring the museum and a stroll on the beach I hop in a collective taxi to George. From here I will catch a bus to Bloemfontein... and from there to the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Nothing really special about George--but it does have a relatively safe feel and I can wander around around the shopping area freely--even with my backpack. I manage to make it all the way to the bus/train station on foot and I even venture up some of the shady shide streets.
All the same, I'm eager to say goodbye to South Africa. I do one last Parkbench Concert in front of the city hall... then head back to catch my bus.
