Despite this seemingly being an off the beaten track part of the country, Hughesville feels reasonably prosperous and middle class. This makes the Traveler ask, where do these people work? There doesn't seem to be much industry—or even much farming around. Do folks drive an hour and a half to find jobs in the cities?
