Day totals: 10 hrs, 12 .9 kms

At the last minute I manage to squeeze in another stop on Marrakech on my way from Agadir to Casablanca in order to finish that last 13 km stretch from Asni to Tahanaout. Not quite as enjoyable as my group hike, as my backpack rips open and I have to sort of carry it under my arm the who way (I manage to find a tailor in Marrakech to fix in--in time for my Big Trip to Europe...)

As planned, I'm able to follow the riverbed through the gorge instead of having to walk along the highway which snakes along the cliffside... much more pleasant...

And finally, after passing through one more village, I reach Tahanoute... I reconnect with the hike I did here 4 years ago... and I fulfill my Quest: An uninterrupted trail of footprints from Marrakech to Toubkal... and across the Atlas...
