Post-visit (0022): 6 1/2 Years Later

Hanover, Pennsylvania, United States
Day 309
5 hours, 10 kms

Here's another town that I visited when my Parkbench tour was in its infancy . Back then it was a hot summer day. Today it's starting out at -9 C. With the snow-ice re-frozen solid, it's allowed for some cool sculptures--including a snowman with arms and legs out of snow!

Downtown also has a theater that's in pretty sorry state with a sign that reads: "This Place Matters"... Not sure if that's going to convince people to pump money into restoring this relic of another era...

I rearrange the pieces of my hike today so I can meet up with Khalid, a brilliant university professor, for lunch. We met just recently and I've learned a lot from him with his scientific mind and very perceptive outlook on the world. Then it's time to continue on up the road.
