 The first thing that greets me in Shippensburg is a parade of Amish buggies coming in and out of town to do their shopping. This is definitely a culture I want to know more about.

Right now I just have a couple of hours, so I'm going to paste two "half-day" hikes to make one full day hike. Right now I'm just going to stroll around Shippensburg, which does have a bit of charm to it, being a college town. Shippensburg college itself has one impressive building and that's about it.

It seems to be town cleanup day, and scores of people are scattered all around town picking up trash... nice thing to see...
