Sandy Bay, Charlotte, Grenadines/St Vincent
2 hrs, 2.6 kms,
Day Totals: 16 hrs, 21 .6 kms

Sandy Bay is the northeasternmost village of the island. From here the road continues on to the northwest to the village of Fancy, where it ends. Unlike the other islands, there is not a road making a complete loop around the island.

I think Sandy Bay will be a good stopping point. I could try to hike all the way to Fancy, but I risk running out of transportation--which is a bit more scarce in these parts. I head down to the beach where the waves pound the rocky shore. To there north the jungle covered cliffs jut out to the sea, but I can still get a glimpse of my next adventure: St Lucia.

It's been a good day. I've finished a "backwards L" hike, exploring 2 sides of the island on entirely on foot. Tomorrow I'll have one more day to explore a bit more. But for now I'm going to call it a day... head back to my hotel... get something for supper and just chill out a bit.
