Finally, over one last ridge, I reach Barrouaillie
. After hiking through forest and tiny villages all day, this place feels huge. Built in a large bowl, with houses climbing up the steep sides, it has a gridlike town center with a large park/grassy air in the middle.
Not bad... but I still feel more at ease in the countryside than in the towns here in St Vincent.
Right now I kind of wish I had another day so I could finish the hike all the way to Kingstown. But I'm running out of time, so I reluctantly get on the van and bring this hike to a close.
