Paint is another tiny village split in two by a highway--with very little left to show. Right next to the highway is a conspicuous "Islamic Center". Which is both odd and intriguing in a redneck area like this--particularly in a time of strong anti-Muslim bias in places like these.
All the climbing up and down these hills has been exhausting. The Traveler decides to call it a day.
