Satun, Thailand

It's strange being back in Satun although I quickly settle into a routine of cycling every morning and pottering around the boat during the day helping out . In the morning I bump into the local farmer taking his cows to the field, eat local food in Che Be Lang and watch the comings and going in the shipyard which I find fascinating.I love the Thai fishing boats, the colors and fishermen but the smell can be overwhelming... it's fairly disgusting coming up the river and into the shipyard but fascinating at the same time. Here's some pictures of day to day stuff at PSS Shipyard to give you an idea of what it's like. Strangely enough many of the workers all bring their birds to work with them, I mean seriously, they bring them on their motorbikes, could you imagine that at home ha ha...Who knows how long I'll stay this time, but it is an interesting place!
