Trogir, Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia
The UNESCO heritage listed old town of Trogir is on a tiny isle between the mainland and Čiovo Island and is the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in all of Central Europe.  Its narrow cobbled alleyways wind between palaces, churches and fortress towers surrounded by medieval walls.
Along with exploring the town, market and waterfront we rented scooters and buzzed round all of Čiovo.
Rocky pebbly beaches but amazing crystal clear water and lovely swimming.  We checked out Okrug Donji, Okrug Gornji, Žedno and Slatine.
Lucked out with a fab seafood restaurant ‘Bocel’ on the first night and another one, Frankies at Seget Donji on the second night with all the locally caught fish cooked on the open fire.  Spotted a great T-shirt on another dining guest!
