Sailing Day 1

Drvenik Veli, Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia
Met up with our sailing buddies, PJ & Marti, John & Deb, Gerald & Angie and took possession of our 58’ Jenneau from the marina at Seget Donji.
The girls headed off to the local supermarket for provisions while the boys got the boat info and relevant instructions. We finally got away in the late afternoon and headed to Veli Drvenik.
This was a lovely anchorage for our first night.  The girls excelled with the pre dinner cheeses and then a sumptuous pasta dish accompanied by local red wine.
The wind picked up during the night and we dragged the anchor but with some timely manœuvring we avoided drifting onto a moored catamaran.
