Sailing Day 7

Milna, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija, Croatia
We were off the berth early (6.15am) so that we would beat the refuelling rush and could then have a pleasant and unrushed day before returning to Trogir.  But the weather had different ideas..The grey clouds grew into thunderstorms and driving rain and as there were other boats queuing for fuel we had to untie and make our way into the bad weather.
The boys valiantly manned the helm and got soaked while the girls kept dry in the cabin.  Two hours of unpleasantness and it was over… we pressed on and found a sheltered cove in the lee of the wind and spent a very lazy afternoon doing very little before heading towards our final berth at Seget Donji.
All the charter boats had to be in by 5pm, and refuelled so it was amusing to watch the chaos of mass boats at the refuelling dock all jostling for position.
After getting the boat ship shape, Murray & I walked to Trogir and had drinks before joining up with John and Deb for dinner at Frankies …. Again another excellent fish dinner.
And so the boating part of our holiday came to an end. Definitely something to do again!
