All
good things must come to end and it was time to go home. We didn’t have to get
up quite so early for our flight home. We got up at 6 and left the hotel a
little after 7. We dropped the rental car off at the rental car center and got
on the bus for Terminal 4.We checked our bags and with Pre-TSA check, only had
about 10 minutes until we were through security. The area around the gate was
crowded, with people taking up 2-3 seats with their carry-ons and such, so
Keith and I had to sit apart. The flight was uneventful and smoother than one
going in. I watched Wonder Woman since it was free. I had seen it in the
theater and didn’t mind seeing it again and it helped to pass the time. I also
finished Number the Stars, amiddle school historical fiction novel by Lois Lowry,
about the escape of a Jewish family (the
Rosens) from Copenhagen during World War 2. My
daughter had recommended it and it is one she has her 4th graders
read.
Keith got picked up at the airport by his
friend Kevin, as they were taking a group of students from Stockton and Rowan
down to a symposium in North Carolina. A few minutes after they had left, the
hotel shuttle picked me up and dropped me off at the car. I stopped at Maryland
House on my way home and had some New England Clam Chowder and a side salad at
the Phillip’s Seafood there, then drove the rest of the way home.
I am not sure I like this blog format. It is easy to use, but it lacks a few features that Travelpod had that I really liked, such as visitor count and the ability to email pictures directly to the blog. There is one other place I found while looking for a new home after deciding Wordpress was too much at the moment. I may go there and try it and see if I like it better. If not, this will do.
