After 19 days of travel we were on our way back to St. Louis.  It was an early day as we had to be up at 5:30 a.m. to finish packing and check out from the hotel.  By 6:55 a.m. we were in our van and heading for the airport.  We arrived without any traffic problems and began the always fun (ha ha!) routine of security lines, ticketing, baggage check, etc.  We flew from Rome to Charlotte where we went through long lines for passport check and customs.  Then we were off to St. Louis finally arriving home about 7:30 p.m. CDT.  That's actually 2:30 a.m. Rome time so we were really exhausted.  We have had a marvellous time and hope all of you who have followed our blog have also enjoyed hearing about our tours and food and fun times as well as enjoyed seeing our photos.  So Arrivederci Roma! and Ciao St. Louis!
