Richard Wray
of Lionheart Travel picked us up at our hotel Wednesday morning June 1 to take us to Southampton, the port of embarcation for our cruise. He promised us a scenic ride to the ship and after an hour or so he turned off the motorway into the very green countryside and we approached a Downton Abby like estate upon which sits Tylney Hall, a property now converted into a hotel.
A very upscale, luxurious small hotel with a rich interior.
We ordered a proper breakfast tea, which we enjoyed very much,
served by Abigale
The gardens and grounds of Tylney Hall are very lovely.
After a brief stop in Southampton for Norm to pick up some camera needs, we went to the port, checked in,
and sailed off into the North Sea.
Off to the ship

Thanks for sharing you trip activities and experiences. Sounds like you made the most of your time in London. I don't know if I would have had your patience to wait in a line of hundreds waiting to be searched before being allowed to enter the museum. Some terrific photos. It brings your trip alive.
