The Ibis

Ross very kindly gave us a lift, through the start of outer London rush hour, to our 'it'll do for one night' cheap as chips room in the Ibis. So close to the airport we could see planes taxiing outside the window. The windows were double, double glazed, as james found out as he head butted the inner window trying to look out the outside one. I def did not laugh!! After a snooze and attempting to beat the chaser, we headed downstairs for a meal (I was starving by this point and had nagged james so much for chocolate he decided we should just go eat!!) The meal was cheerful, not exactly rockstar but my Angus burger def filled a hole. And those of you that know me well, know that I definitely couldn't turn down salted caramel and vanilla bean ice cream for pud (yes mother I am talking food again!!!) We retired to our room watch some typical Monday night tv (hollyoaks and MIC def made james' night!!) and then attempted sleep. Other than the person getting up at 4am for an early flight, we slept pretty soundly. 7am Taxi with the most miserable bastard of a driver I have met in some time. I think the only thing he said to us was 'terminal 4' and '£13'!! Terminal 4.... lets fly away!!
