I have a cold too mum!! It maybe the masses amounts of aircon around, but I'm blaming Jamesy as that's the kind of wife I am!!
By pure fluke (and the help of the cold) I was awake (therefore Jamesy was awake!!) to see sunrise
. It was a good'un too, with lots of changing colours appearing over the mountains. We went back to sleep and got down to the beach around 9 again. Our spot had been stolen from yesterday, so we moved along the beach a little way, equally as paradisiacal as the previous choice. After breakfast we read books/kindles and generally dozed in the sun. As time went on, I began to feel pretty grotty, so headed back up to the room for a 2pm snooze, whilst james sat on the corner sofa in the balcony, meeting the local monkeys.... not sure who was most surprised!
4pm was spa time.... we had a complementary 50min massage. We were greeted by a pineapple, guava, green tea and chilli concoction, which was interesting.... but I let James have the dregs as that's where all the chilli was!!
We were to have a traditional Malay massage. I was called Mrs Laura throughout the whole experience! Felt a little like the king and I!!! My girl was a lovely, gentle, young lady, where as James' looked a little like a battle axe!! I tried so hard not to laugh!!
We were shown to the room, given robes and flip flops and then sat down for a foot soak and shoulder massage!! My feet are so ticklish!! The rest of the massage was on a massage table... facing head down with a cold was not the best but my medium massage was wonderful. She did do my belly though which was weird and not helping the fact I needed a pee!!
Afterwards we had some ginger tea, which was scrummy and went to get ready for our Japanese tea.
It was an early sitting, but I meant we could watch sunset from the cliff side restaurant. There were only 10 seats in there. The food was spectacular. Nothing to spicy or raw!! Lol
We retired to drink our bottle of bubbles we had fought so hard to get and watched April the giraffe give birth by live stream!!
