After an afternoon of walking some of the walk trails at 'Kata Tjuta' or 'The Olgas' as they are commonly referred to, we came back to 'Uluru' or 'Ayers Rock' for the sunset.There is a huge area for cars to park in, and another for buses, a bit further back. There are plenty of stools in the carpark, as well as an area all along the fence line for you to set up your tripod and folding chairs. This we did, along with over 100 other people. With some nibbles, a beer and a glass of wine, we sat back ready to watch the colours of the rock change. It was very spectacular! There certainly is something about 'That Massive Rock' in the middle of Australia. It is magical!
