More rehab this weekend February 16-19! And an extra 4th day for this President's Day weekend! Donna brought some old fashioned Liquid Gold to apply to all the interior teak woodwork--what a dramatic improvement it made! Dave read the diesel, watermaker, and inverter manuals. He destructively removed the latch on one cockpit locker that was found frozen. Good thing he had intended to replace and upgrade these latches anyway!

Donna continued to dehumidify the port forward berth and scraped the peeling paint from prior water damage to set a new "baseline" for ongoing inspection of any continuing water intrusion . Dave re-arranged the spare parts inventory to include an additional storage bin. We installed three LED puck lights (battery operated)--above the stove, near the electrical panel/weather station, and above the starboard stairwell. We hung a cute wood-carved pelican picture in the starboard hallway as we continued to turn the boat into a home.

Donna measured for decorative fabric panels which would be installed in the heads to cover the ugly existing vinyl panels. Dave prepared the grill he had purchased for use in a rod holder. We replaced the French-manufacture fire extinguishers to their original positions but have purchased new ones required by Coast Guard regulations. Dave will be purchasing screws for the new fire extinguishers and the rod holders. We placed the new microwave on the countertop.

You can probably tell we're starting to spend some money....We've been videotaping our progress--watch the clip attached!
