The Weekend After

This weekend April 13-15 gave us the chance to clean up after our visiting guests of the Christening weekend by cleaning the port head and making up anew the king cabin bed--pretty much what you'd be doing at home! Dave flushed through a possible clog to the holding tank and cleaned the port bilge. He completed the reactivation of the pressure water system for the Spring. Dave lettered the dinghy T/T Pas de Deux and cleaned and oiled the teak shower floor grates. Donna ran the dehumidifier at the port forward cabin, installed soap dispensers in the heads and made a second effort at rehabilitating by brushing the two most worn salon cushions, along with the navigation seat. Dave checked the function of the anchor windlass to be alright for our anticipated sail in early May with family when we might be setting anchor.

Even with all the ongoing work, there's always time to prepare a good meal!
