Staying Put Doesn't Have to be Boring

This weekend August 10-12 we stayed at the marina, as we were awaiting receipt of the new halyard line. Dave has ordered V-100 for the main halyard and Sta-SetX line for the topping lift. We did some odds 'n ends chores like removing shroud covers, replacing the bulb in Erek's cabin, and reconfiguring the dinghy lift points temporarily because its interior tie-down ring had come unglued. We re-organized the hardware spare parts. All spare parts are now in the "prime location" galley settee storage for easy access.  We tidied up a cockpit locker, discarded an old mainsail cover that served no purpose for us, removed an extra large cushion from sail locker to home for cleaning/storage. More troubleshooting on autopilot--no results.

We invited Paul and Linda over for dinner on Friday (filet mignon and key lime pie--yum!). On Saturday we went to Bay Point Marina where John keeps Sutra for a small event and spoke with an electronics rep. While there we saw remains of a boat that had blown up from a recent propane explosion.
