Sail from Onancock to Mill Creek, VA

Mill Creek, Virginia, United States
We departed our Onancock anchorage at 0701 hours and enjoyed a lovely sail across the Bay on NE winds 10-15 kt heading for Mill Creek at the entrance to the Great Wicomico River. We had to be cautious to avoid a large amount of fish stakes near the entrance to the river--not a good place to approach at night if you've never been there before! Fortunately, it was daylight yet. To date we thought that Wilton Creek had been our favorite anchorage but Mill Creek definitely rivals Wilton Creek--we love them both for seclusion!
