Anchorage at Indian Creek

Indian Creek, Virginia, United States
On Sunday we sailed out of Carter Creek at 0822 hours and spent a very pleasant day touring up the Corottoman River under motor sail to scout future potential anchorages. Then we headed south down the Rappahannock, tacking under the bridge. We enjoyed upwind sailing on full main and jib in pleasant, light winds from NE with air temperatures in the 70s. We toured Indian Creek and anchored in its offshoot Henry's Creek in a small cove with several other boats at approximately 1834 hours.
