Sail from Coan River to Cockrell's

We left our Coan River anchorage at 0715 hours to head back to Cockrell's. The day was partly sunny and warm with winds S-SSW 5-12 kts. We sailed on the main and jib, both boards fully down, handling one tack close hauled to reach our destination with a solid 7-8 kts SOG (speed over ground) at 33 apparent. A couple blips to 9. Persistent lift. Very pleasant. We're really into sailor speak...
