Fishing Bay Piankatank River, Virginia, United States
We left our marina today at 1230 hours for a gorgeous sail on a sunny warm dry day south to the Piankatank River where we anchored in Fishing Bay. Winds were NW 10-15 kts and we sailed on the main and jib. Fishing Bay is a very nice anchorage.  We brought a small Bluefish to the transom steps, but he got off. We also had a really strong strike on a Clarke spoon, but never saw the fish. We were at anchor by 1810 hours to enjoy dinner on the grill.
