Sail from Mill Creek to Cockrell's Marine Railway

Cockrell's Marine Railway, Virginia, United States
This morning we tried to mount the new bow sprit but determined the bobstays were too short. Dave will follow up with the fabricator.

We had a spectacular view of a distant thunderstorm that the radio advised was across the Bay affecting Crisfield MD . We departed our Mill Creek anchorage on what would be for us a sunny, dry, pleasant day with very little wind at 0943. The predicted S wind didn't show up.

We started out intending to troll under spinnaker but we took it right down and motored to troll. Had a couple small fish on a Clarke spoon, but landed none. We zig zag-ed our course to follow birds working the water.

We arrived back at the marina around 1300 hours and got ready to depart for Arlington.
