With South winds blowing 0-7 kts today, it was a convenient time to head (in no rush) somewhere we had never been. At 0742 we departed our anchorage to cross the Bay eastward toward Tangier Island, then be able to turn northward along the eastern shore of Tangier in Tangier Sound to visit Crisfield, MD. We crossed the Bay on main and jib with a sloppy slow reach, then enjoyed a very nice spinnaker run up Tangier Sound which is a very interesting area we had not yet seen. We anchored at 1550 hours in the harbor at Crisfield off the Coast Guard station.
