Sail to Fishing Creek Little Choptank River MD

Fishing Creek Little Choptank River, Maryland, United States
Sailing in tandem with Alize, we departed our anchorage at 0710 and enjoyed a nice SW wind 10-15 departing the Potomac River on main and jib and for a while up the Bay. Unfortunately, the wind died and we motored a long way beyond the mouth of the Patuxent River. Winds shifted to SE and we raised the spinnaker briefly until the wind died and we found ourselves motoring the rest of the way as the wind came and went.

We were anchored at 1658 hours . It became very breezy after dark. We had a fun dinner with John and Joan aboard Pas de Deux.  Coincidentally, just after they returned to Alize their boat slipped anchor. It was serious business for a while thereafter for John to reset the anchor in the dark.
