We departed our anchorage at 0740 and motored in cool rain with light wind 0-5. Fortunately in this dismal weather we weren't traveling far. Donna wanted to check out an acclaimed anchorage at La Trappe Creek off the eastern portion of the Choptank River.

Even in the poor weather we enjoyed traveling fully up this Creek, home to many luxurious residences . Quite the sight--and probably even more beautiful in the sunshine! We anchored at 1146 in a cove ringed by a sandy beach.

Our leaking windows really took a hit in the pouring rain. We're looking forward to replacing three of our windows in the spring and re-bedding the others.
