Vera's White Sands Beach Club and Marina, Maryland, United States
Today was our final sailing day of the season. We waited for fog to lift some before leaving our anchorage at La Trappe Creek. The fog returned in mid morning; we had to use the radar to pick out the watermen in their workboats that otherwise wouldn't become visible to us until we might be on top of them!

The fog gradually lifted for good . In south winds 5-10 we found ourselves motoring out the Choptank River, then motor sailing across and down the Bay, eventually sailing into the Patuxent River under main and jib.

We arrived at Vera's White Sands Beach Club and Marina on Saint Leonard Creek off the Patuxent River near dusk at 1648 hours. Staff helped us tie up upon arrival and we took a few minutes to head for the office to provide paperwork and payment for our winter stay.
