Mt Etna, Sicily, Italy
I know, after twelve hours on a bus, what do you do the next day? Of course, do another one.
Yup! Sucker for punishment am I . So, we start out with the mile hike to the bus station and get on the bus. At least its a bigger bus with a little (very little according to Chris and Ryan) more leg room. {Aside note - keep in mind Paige & I barely top 5' while Ryan is 5'10" and Chris is 6'1". This is something I have to constantly remind myself of when traveling. The guys take up a lot more room then Paige & I do! Most of the time it sucks being short but traveling makes up for it.} Anyways, back on the bus. It's about an hours ride to Mt Etna so the bus isn't that bad. And we're on our own when we get there, so even better. Not so good it the fact that Paige is getting a migraine. Chris & Ryan opt to take the tram ride up 900 more meters while Paige and I will poke around the base camp. Most of the time with Paige's head wrapped in my scarf to keep the light away.We walked all over a couple of calderas, went into to all the stores, bought some carved lava, had a nice lunch and drank a bottle of wine. Overall, from our perspective, a pretty nice day.
Trying to get a narrative out of the boys on their portion of the day goes like this: "We took the cable car up. We walked around. We saw snow. We ate. We came back down." Four hours to do all this, how did you manage? This is why I write this and not either of them.

Our last night on Sicily and we had a nice dinner in town, just down the stairs from our hotel. Chris, how's the Lasagna? Eh, a bit ropey.   I hate that Brit.
