Mark's alarm went off at midnight so by 7am we were well ready to be up and off. We shared the driving today but still spent 9.5 hours driving to end up just over half way through France at Futuroscope near Poitiers.
We decided to do most of the travelling without using the motorway which was much more enjoyable except for the first hour which was in thick fog. Other than the fog we had a successful if slightly boring day, but we’re 650km, closer to our destination, about 1500km to go!!
