After a short lie in, Penny set off in search of a toilet and the bakery for fresh croissants to have with our strawberries for breakfast and it was all very tasty.

Saturday in Olhao is market day so we thought we'd have a quick look, which turned out to be very quick as Mark looked behind him, saw the colour of the clouds and decided we’d better head back . We ran the last 200 metres and made it catching just a few spots and then the heavens really opened.

Once it calmed down we set off for Albufeira, arriving at 1ish just in time for lunch and a walk to the beach (about 6km), before getting ready for dinner with Nelson and his family.

Today we moved to an aire right on the beach, which we’d spotted on our walk yesterday, where we could park for €1.50 for 24 hours with about a hundred other vans. The weather was terrible so we had a puzzle afternoon before walking to the pub to watch the football. As usual the football was crap and there was an odd woman in the pub but this time she was with another couple and annoying the whole pub rather than just us!!
