Vila Nova de Milfontes and Porto Covo in a day

Porto Covo, Estremadura, Portugal
…and so our repulsion continues. We parked at Vila Nova de Milfontes and there were 4 motorhomes in the car park. When we returned from our sightseeing and lunch there was just the one motorhome. The town will be very nice once finished but at the moment most of the streets in the tourist area are dug up making it difficult to walk and very dirty. This is also the first town that we've come across that motorhomes aren’t welcome to overnight, so on we move, as it’s too windy to sunbathe on the beach.

Next stop where we can camp is Porto Covo, oh yes the aire for 20 has about 50 vans on it and could fit at least 20 more . We nearly missed this town as our guidebook didn’t sell it well but actually it is just as nice if not nicer than Milfontes and much more active. After a mooch round we managed to have a few hours sunbathing outside the van using it as a windblock, whilst been serenaded by the town speaker system blaring accordion music!!

We had to declare a poorly day today, so just chilled out in the sun around the van.
