Ghent, Flanders, BelgiumUnfortunately for us, Belgium also celebrate heavily the
Ascension day weekend, so the campsites and aires were all overflowing and we
couldn’t even find anywhere just to stop along the Belgian coast from De Panne
to Oostend. After a couple of hours we gave in and resorted to our old
favourite the aire alongside the river in Ghent.
We spent a lovely afternoon around Ghent again and had a
couple of beers and the Belgian speciality of Frikandeln n Frites for dinner.
