Hannover red route town walk

Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany
We were up a little late today after a good nights sleep (the night before was rubbish, too hot and thunder), then we found we had quite a long hop today, so we decided to take it steady, have a wash day and investigate Hannover tomorrow. After a bit of fuss at the campsite, ‘not good’ that we hadn’t booked, we were checked in and on our own in our camp area, what was that all about?? Three vans arrived at the camp all at once and Mrs Efficient after directing us to park exactly where she wanted us while we checked in, was then very flustered, but Penny understood and spoke to her in German so she calmed herself down a bit!!\As planned we got the bus into Hannover today and followed the very helpful red route around the city. Gosh it was a big city and quite a walk to the bus stop so we had some good exercise today. We stopped at the tourist information and bought a book for €3 which explained what we saw on the red route and this is probably the best city guide we’ve ever bought, we learned so much about the city (the pictures will tell more). On the way back we decided we deserved a drink, so went to the biergarten close to the camp, well that was a bit of an experience (odd garden, very odd bar & the two locals which made it very full !!).
