A luxurious life

Paris, Île-de-France, France
Today we got up nice and early to take the train to Musee du Louvre. We got in quite quickly through the pyramid a took a while trying to find our bearings!! We saw a lot of different things including Italian and French paintings from the 18th-19th century, Mona Lisa, Venus of Milo and Victory statue. We looked through Napoleon III's apartments which was amazing! They must have lived an extremely luxurious life. We had lunch in the Tuileries Gardens where we were told off for sitting on the grass.

After a French lunch of bread and cheese we walked down the Champs Elysees towards the Arc de Triomphe, stopping for coffee - as always - and then carried on towards the Eiffel Tower . We walked up about 660 steps and then took the lift to the top. The view was amazing! We could see all of Paris! For dinner we bought some slices of quiche from a Boulangerie in St-Germain and had them in our little flat. It was very nice! Paris is an amazingly beautiful city and we all love it!
