Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands
This morning dad left extremely early to go for a day of work. The rest the family went on the metro the shopping centre in the middle of Barcelona's town. On the way to the shopping centre we got a bit lost, but we still had a nice walk there. When we arrived at the shopping centre we found it to be a huge modern building and area. For a start we went in to H&M a clothes shop. At H&M i bought a lovely blue stripy dress and two pretty colourful singlets. For Jed we went to Decathlon. He bought a windproof jacket as he wanted one like Amy York. After awhile we walked towards our next destination- the old Olympic pool. when we arrived at the sparkling beautiful blue pool, we had lunch in the shade. For lunch we tried some Spanish sheep's cheese called Manchego. We stayed at the pool for 3 and a half hours. The pool that we were swimming was once used for the Olympics. At 6.00 we walked to a really popular street called Carrer Blai. We walked done the street and looked at what we could have for dinner. at 7.00 we meet dad at a restaurant called Blai 9. We had lots of different tapas. They were really nice. Today was a nice relaxing day!
